Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before renting mobility equipment from CJ Mobility Scooter Rentals LLC. By placing an order, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
SMS Messaging Terms & Compliance
1. Program Description: This messaging program sends appointment confirmation and reminder messages to customers who have booked an appointment with CJ Mobility Scooter Rentals LLC through our website at https://cjmobilityscooters.com/ or via our scheduling forms, and have explicitly opted in to receive SMS notifications. Opt-in is collected via web forms with a dedicated checkbox for SMS consent. Messages include scheduling confirmations, appointment reminders, rescheduling updates, and customer support communications.
2. Cancelation instructions:
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text “STOP” to the same number that sent you messages. Upon sending “STOP,” we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.
3. Support Information: If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance, or reach out directly to sales@Cjmobilityscooters.com or call +1 561-552-6639 during business hours.
4. Carrier Liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies based on your service usage and appointment schedule. For questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.
6. Supported Carriers: Our SMS program works with all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and most regional carriers.

7. Age Restriction: You must be 18 years or older to participate in our SMS program.

We comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CTIA guidelines, regarding the use of SMS communications.
General Terms
1. Rental Agreement
1.1 The mobility equipment is the property of CJ Mobility Scooter Rentals LLC and must be returned in the same condition as received, except for normal wear and tear.
1.2 CJ Mobility reserves the right to repossess equipment at any time if the terms of this agreement are violated or if equipment is used in a manner that may harm the user or others.
2. Payment Terms
2.1 Rental fees, taxes, and any applicable charges are due at the time of booking.
2.2 Additional fees incurred during the rental period, including damage or replacement costs, will be charged to the credit card on file.
2.3 Administrative or clerical billing errors do not absolve renters of financial responsibility.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
3.1 Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to delivery are eligible for a full refund, minus a 10% administrative fee.
3.2 Cancellations made within 48 hours of delivery or after delivery are non-refundable.
3.3 No-shows or failure to return equipment on the agreed date will incur additional fees, including a $75 daily charge and potential holding fees to be billed to the card on file.
4. Delivery and Pickup
4.1 CJ Mobility offers 24/7 delivery and pickup services within its service area.
4.2 Renters are required to adhere to scheduled delivery and pickup times. Missed appointments may result in a $50 fee billed to the card on file.
4.3 Equipment must be fully charged upon return. An additional fee of $50 billed to the card on file applies for delivering a charged battery outside of business hours.
5. Liability and Risk
5.1 Renters assume all risk and liability for injury, loss, or damage resulting from the use or misuse of equipment, including traffic and weather-related incidents.
5.2 CJ Mobility is not liable for any property lost, stolen, or damaged while using rented equipment.
6. Damage, Loss, and Insurance
6.1 Renters are responsible for all damage or loss to equipment unless optional Damage Insurance is purchased.
6.2 If insurance is waived, renters authorize CJ Mobility to charge the credit card on file for repair or replacement costs.
6.3 Modifications to equipment are prohibited. Any unauthorized alterations may result in a $75 fee billed to the card on file.
7. Restrictions on Use
7.1 Mobility equipment may not be operated by individuals:
• Under the age of 18 without prior written consent.
• Under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• In a manner that causes harm or violates traffic or safety laws.
8. Indemnity
8.1 Renters agree to indemnify and hold harmless CJ Mobility, its agents, and employees from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from the use of rented equipment.
9. Governing Law
9.1 This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction of Florida courts.
10. Additional Fees
10.1 Cleaning Fee: Equipment returned in excessively dirty conditions may incur a $50 cleaning fee billed to the card on file.
10.2 Cruise Rentals: Additional $50 charge applies for cruise reservations, as equipment leaves the country billed to the card on file.
11. Entire Agreement
11.1 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between CJ Mobility and the renter. Amendments or modifications must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
